How Does The Course Run?
This is a personal training course with a total of 40 hours of face-to-face practical workshops, over ten weeks. So you will actually be working with a tutor. You’ll be able to ask questions and interact with the other members of your group. In addition, there is course work to be completed in between sessions. All your learning resources are provided through our specially-created student hub.
And as it is a part-time course, normally taught once a week, you can study around your other work or family commitments.

After completing the qualification, you are guaranteed professional insurance so that the day you finish, you can start practising. Professional insurance starts from for approximately £50 a year.

Our aim in teaching you on this course is to prepare you to be as ready, prepared and confident to take your place in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, as it is possible to be. This could be working as an employee with another organisation, as a self-employed practitioner setting up on your own or even as part of our team. To do this, we have a number of added-value extras that most other companies are unable to provide.
You will be trained by a company at the heart of the fitness industry. We are always looking for talented newly-qualified personal trainers to join our team. We prefer to offer jobs to our former students before advertising more widely. As part of the course you can gain some invaluable real-life experience.

Almost always, someone will have to miss one of the dates through no fault of their own and the course has been designed to accommodate this. Because the course has competency-based assessments rather than set examinations, this allows for flexibility.
To a certain extent, this depends of course on the experience and previous knowledge of the student but we estimate a minimum of four hours a week. To give an example, one student on one of our courses, a lorry-driver who had absolutely no previous educational qualifications or experience, was able to complete the course quite satisfactorily by doing an hour a night's study.
The teacher for the duration of the course is a highly qualified and experienced fitness professional with one clear goal - to make sure you pass and are comfortable and confident delivering personal training sessions.
To join our personal training course you must be over 16 years old, physically able to do the work and have good communication skills. There is no upper age limit, mature students are especially welcome. No pre-qualifications are necessary.
The cost of the course is £1795, which will include all your registration and tuition. Finance is available from as little as £45 a month where you can spread the investment to make it more affordable.
